This is a sport that is all about progression. Continued change that you see over time. Patience and continued hard work is necessary for the final product to come to light. I know that I am not where I need to be but I know I am headed in the right direction.
🤢 PAIN THRESHOLD 🤮
There’s a huge difference between finishing a set when you psychologically believe you can’t go on, and finishing a set when you physically no longer have the ability to contract the muscle group being worked.
Most people never actually go to failure, because they are mentally unable to get to that point due to the pain they need to withstand in order to do so. I believe occasionally it’s actually beneficial to train your pain threshold, do some stupidly painful and insane dropsets/supersets in your session and go to a point where your completely out of your comfort zone and your body is screaming for you to stop, but just bite down and keep on going. Why? Because it teaches you that you CAN keep on going...
Or you can just do your 3 sets of 10 and call it a day... entirely up to you 🤷🏻♂️

“Everyone is strong in the sun. In the bright and calm air, there is nothing to fear, there is nothing to cower from. To stand firm in the daylight is an easy feat. But when the darkness comes STRENGTH is revealed, resolve is uncovered. In the winds of defeat, in the rains of despair, the character of a person holds their feet tightly to the ground for battle or it sends them fleeing to their safety. On that day, when the light of hope is extinguished from view and the monsters of every doubt swirl over you, YOU WILL BE UNVEILED. Self-proclamation of strength in good times is the lie of braggers. STRONG in the STORM is the TRUE measure of you.” - @apemanstrong
💥Try This 💥 Add these weighted pull ups to your routine to spice up your workouts. This movement is excellent for getting over plateaus and adding some mass to your back. 3-4 sets should do, reps will be lower until you master the extra weight. Start light and gradually advance. You can use a weight belt or you can just lock the dumbbell between you feet. #PullUps#BackDay
