As a native Floridian, growing up in Northwest Florida specifically, seeing the photos and videos of the widespread damage of Hurricane Michael made me sick to my stomach. I remember driving town to town through the back roads full of beautiful oak and pine trees. The small towns, and the people in them, are an unknown treasure. Even more known to the world, the beautiful, white, sandy beaches that are unlike any other.
This hurricane caused so much devastation and the need for help is overwhelming. Now living in South Carolina, I have felt pretty helpless after Hurricane Michael made landfall. I want to help my home state and I know I’m not alone. I’m hosting a fundraiser auction featuring handmade AND vintage items. ALL proceeds will go directly to those who need it the most. The auction will start 6pm EST Friday, October 26 - 6pm EST Sunday, October 28. More details to follow but in the meantime, please tag and/or share this page. If you’d like to donate an item for the auction, please send me a DM on this page or at my shop page @vickianncreation.
