One of the many Mandarakes housed inside the expansive Nakano Broadway.
A haven for collectibles from varying aspects of pop culture.
Only just remembered to upload these.
Photos from my last trip to Japan in February.
Toudoukan is a must stop for any wrestling fan. Tonnes of assorted wrestling collectibles, ranging from magazines to Bull Nakano's ring gear!
I'm bringing a bigger suitcase next time.
Check out some highlights between Owen Hart against Jushin Liger in NJPW via @thewrassles
One of the most iconic wrestlers to come out of Japan. It’s gonna be sad when he retires 😭
Liger meets Vader. Someone wiser than me correct me if I’m wrong but I believe this shot is from a six man tag circa 1989 in which Liger teamed with Riki Choshu and Masahiro Chono to take on the team of Vader, Tony St. Clair & Tom Prichard. Prior to the match Vader was flexing over the helmet doing the steam gimmick and Liger just shoot kicked it. This made Vader angry and he chased him around the ring.
One of the greatest of all time and one of my top 5 Favourite wrestlers
Jushin 'Thunder' Liger
Been wanting to draw Liger for a while but didn't because I thought it would have been way to hard, but I was wrong and this turned out to be one of the most enjoyable drawings I've ever done
Ligers matches against Pegasus Kid/Wild Pegasus (Chris Benoit) are some of my go to matches
It will be sad to see him retire next year, but he had lead an amazing career that won't be forgotten
