Giving my legs a little bit of a cuddle because I haven’t always been so kind to them in the past. Admittedly they’re my biggest insecurity - but I’ve learnt to keep my mind off them by looking at the things I love about myself, reminding myself that no body loves every inch of themselves and that’s okay.. but more importantly, I’ve reminded myself to love my body for what it can do and not so much what it looks like. I’m no longer seeking a thigh gap, or punishing myself for hours on end at the gym. It’s not longer about having a six pack and running 20km each day. While I still have frequent ups and downs, recovering from an eating disorder was the BEST decision I have ever made, and the weight I have gained is a vital part of that. I would be lying if I said that I always ‘love’ my body - because honestly, no one does all the time right? We all have bad thoughts occasionally, and that also means we have happy ones too! But life isn’t just about fitting a body type, or weighing a certain amount. It isn’t about getting rid of all your fat, and getting ‘shredded’ by punishing yourself with exercise that you actually hate. Sure... I gained over 25 kilos from my lowest weight, but I also gained a life. Life is so, SO much more that our image! 🏆🥇🍕 Life is about the memories you make at 3am eating a drunk pizza. Life is the lazy Sunday mornings spent with family over brunch. Life is exercising because you want too, not because you ‘have’ to. Life isn’t about focusing on imperfections, it’s about finding what you like and going with it. Life is brunch, lunch, dinner, and more... whatever you want at the time. It’s smashing it in the gym if that’s what you feel, and it’s curling up on a Friday evening if you want that too. It’s balance, freedom, fun and all of that good stuff. So honestly, stop being so mean to yourself and start being kind. Talk to yourself as you would your mum, or sister, your niece or your best friend. If they felt bad for a eating a piece of pizza or for having dessert, maybe they missed a workout. Think about what you would say? I can guarantee you that it’s probably not the same way you would treat yourself 🗣 You are so beautiful, and your body doesn’t define who you are. Your body is your home. It is there through the ups and downs. It deserves respect and love. It deserves fun and freedom! You deserve a life full of prosperity and happiness, so allow yourself to seek that. Allow yourself what you deserve, and forget stupid numbers, calories, weight or regime. They mean nothing! And you my friend... you mean everything 🙈🍔🍌💃

Last night dinner!! My favourite was the BBQ pizza supreme!! Only 255 calories. Ingredients 2 Tip top sandwich thins. 1 T BBQ style pizza sauce. 4g Mushrooms. 10g sliced tomato. 15g Jalepenos. 15g skinless chicken breast cooked. 10g light grated cheese. Method Keep 2 tip top thins together. Spread with BBQ pizza sauce. Place tomatoes on top of the sauce. Layer with ingredients. Finish with a sprinkle of cheese.
