For lunch: * sweet and juicy papaya. 🤤 (I think 💭 our dog Lola is also fruitiarian because she always requests some whatever fruit we eat😍).
* A little later celery+dates.
Melons and papaya we should eat separately from other foods for better digestion. Lately salty juicy celery with sweet dates are my favorites. And bitter dandelion root tea with sweet dates is another favorite.
Some Dates facts:
- Dates, fresh or dried, are rich in fiber, potassium, copper, magnesium, manganese, and vitamin B6. - Dates provide energy, fuel the liver, calm the adrenals, and remove toxins - Dates have also been known to help reduce blood pressure and have lots of anti-inflammatory properties. - Dates, figs, and fasting is also suggested to get kidneys filtering. 👍🏻 - It is important to buy dried dates that are free of added sugars or preservatives. Medjool dates are delicious and popular in different grocery stores. - (I recommend to always check out the inside before biting into them, as there are sometimes a little black dots -parasites or parasite eggs. Throughout my experience I have only seen it once.) Some Papaya facts:
- Papaya is extremely high in beta carotene, vitamins C & A, and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, also antioxidants, protein, and essential fatty acids our body needs to rebuild muscles, tissues, bones, and organs. - Papaya can help in the Regulation of the Menstruation - It is a phenomenal fruit for helping to heal any type of digestive disorder by cleansing effect on the digestive tract and gently removes toxic debris while decreasing swelling and inflammation. - Papayas have Anti-Inflammatory Properties can help with arthritis. - If consumed regularly, papaya will greatly improve skin, hair, and nails and keep eye’s bright. - The black seeds inside the papaya are edible and can act as an effective worm/parasite remover. Start by 3-5 seeds a day and then increase.

I’ve loved looking back to see where I was 10 years ago.
10 years ago I separated from my first husband, and I had three beautiful kids.
Now I am married to a wonderful man and have 5 beautiful kids! And my first born is 17 tomorrow 😱. I also have a business that I love and friends and family around me who I can count on.
Time stands still for no one! 10 years goes past in a blink of an eye.
But it’s not how long... but how you live.
Being present, making the most of every day, enjoying and being grateful for what you have now.
Being able to do all that means I have no fear of ageing. #bringiton

I like to make mini burgers or patties as they are super versatile, freeze well and are loved by my toddler. These pictured here are made with chickpeas, carrots and egg. They took me just about 15 minutes to prepare and while they were baking I could play with my daughter (win!) Oh, and the side dish is cauliflower rice with green peas to switch it up a bit.

If you predicted avocados would be on my list of Top 5 Super Foods, well, you’re correct! Not only is this yummy fruit (yes, avocados are a fruit!) loaded with healthy fats, but avocados also contain a high amount of fiber, protein, and over 20 different vitamins and minerals including B vitamins, potassium, folate, and vitamin K. •
Avocados are a true super food in the sense that they support almost every system of the body. They’ve been shown to promote heart health, lower risk for metabolic syndrome, assist with weight loss, support healthy digestion, prevent insulin resistance and diabetes, support hormone production and balance, promote healthy skin, and even prevent cataracts! •
But what’s the deal with high fat foods, and are they friend or foe? Over the past decade the topic of dietary fats has been gaining significant traction and we’ve slowly come to learn that not all fats are created equally. In short, it’s important to know which fats are good, which are bad, and sources of each. While I’ll save the lengthy version of this conversation for another day, I’ll provide you with some brief insight. Healthy fats are found NATURALLY in foods and include monounsaturated (avocados, nuts, seeds) and polyunsaturated forms (fatty fish, flaxseed oil, chia). Saturated fats also fall into this naturally-occurring category, but we’ll save that discussion for another day. What’s important to know is that both mono- and poly- unsaturated fats have largely been shown to reduce blood pressure, raise beneficial HDL cholesterol, decrease harmful LDL, and lower triglyceride levels. 👏🏻
There are perhaps a million ways to consume avocados – in soups, salads, or smoothies, as guacamole, on toast, in eggs, as a substitute for sour cream or mayo, in salad dressing, in desserts, stuffed, or simply seasoned and eaten plain. And if you’re looking to follow a Baby Led Weaning approach, avocados are a great first food!

I like to keep it simple- mono meals.
Before breakfast we try to have daily warm Lemon water (my 3y old has his with raw honey) first thing in the morning. Then Celery juice and Fruits and Smoothies until dinner time.
Vitamin C in natural foods is one of the best detox vitamins around, so lemons, oranges and limes are on top of the list. The enzymes help to clear the digestive tract and cleanse the liver.
Warm lemon water first thing in the morning acts like a “Street Sweeper Truck” cleaning out toxins so we can start our day more cleaner and refreshed!
