So after whinging in the Live video earlier, I started my calf rehabilitation as soon as I got home.
If you ever suffer with calf strain or cramps, here are some things you can do to help yourself.
Hold each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds and repeat for up to 3 hours after exercise.
Even though the pain is in one of the muscles in the calf (soleus) muscle, it's important to find the linked areas which may be the cause of the problem.
If you have tight glutes, it can affect your hip flexibility and can also pull on your lower back and psoas muscle.
The sole of your foot has tendons running underneath, connecting to your toes. If these are painful then it, again, can affect the lower leg.
By stretching and rolling you can help to keep muscles supple and assist with recovery from injury.

AN individual's motivation may be inspired by others or events (Extrinsic motivation) or it may come from within the individual (Intrinsic Motivation). What's your Motivation?
What's your WHY?
Why do you get up in the morning?
To go to work, to earn, to spend time with loved ones! To do what you love! I'd expect anyway!
Why is it when Sunday comes, there's that feeling of DREAD?
Is it getting up again and repeating something that you don't like doing, or is it that you haven't got the routine that you enjoy?
I have had those feelings of the Sunday Blues and I know SO many people who do. It's a very common thing
BUT... It can be changed! You can change it.
By asking yourself WHAT YOU WANT?
What are your goals?
What do you want to achieve in life?
DO you want to feel great and confident within yourself?
You should because you deserve to.
