Und dafür sind manche #Yoga Positionen einfach grandios. Durch sitzen und unseren Alltag verliert die Hüfte schnell ihre Mobilität. Folge davon ist,dass vor allem Lendenwirbelsäule,aber auch das Knie die fehlende Beweglichkeit ausgleichen muss. Folge können Rückenschmerzen, knieprobleme,hexenschuss etc sein. Diese Position ist gut um die Hüfte zu strecken, in der Rotation zu mobilisieren und gleichzeitig die kurzen hüftmuskeln zu dehnen. 🔥ACUTE LOWER BACK PAIN: EARLY STAGE REHAB 🔥 . If you have ever dealt with intense lower back pain after either simply bending over to pick something up or lifting a heavy weight at the gym this one is for you! . When you are dealing with this acute stage of pain, you will often find that doing simple day to day tasks like walking, sitting and bending is next to impossible! . The reason why it is so hard to move especially when you are upright is because your nervous system goes into protection mode and it doesn't feel safe. . During the early stages, not only is rest important however it is also important to stay moving as you will just end up stiff and worse. Our bodies are engineered to move so we have to keep it moving however in these acute stages we just have to adjust how we move and the quality of our movement. . All the exercises i get my patients to do in these stages are on all fours because it is in an unloaded position and our spine is not under direct compression. . Here are a few basic exercises you can try to desensitise your nervous system and allow movement to happen whilst minimising pain 😄 . 1️⃣ 4 point Kneel Cat Camel 2️⃣ 4 point Kneel Cat + Sit back 3️⃣ Hip Hinge 4️⃣ Deadbug (Core Activation) 5️⃣ Bridge (Glute Bridge) . So if you know anyone suffering from serious lower back pain, tag them and help them take the first step to a healthier back and allow them to live through movement 😜 . 📌Technique Troubleshooting: The Deadlift. . We all have weak points in our lifts that can cause technique breakdowns or progress to halt. . If we can highlight these weak points we can program specific exercises to turn our weaknesses into strengths and keep progressing . The image above provides some example exercises for common Deadlift faults. . ❓So how do you assess where your technique breaks down or where you're weak? . It's not guess work unfortunately or "I think it's....." . The best way is to have a Coach assess your lifting and identify any weaknesses or technique issues. . If Coaching isn't an option for you than filming your lifts should become a priority. For Deadlifting I recommend filming directly from the side as this allows you to see the most. . Once videoed watch your video back multiple times and assess your technique and identify your weaknesses. . ✔I would break your lift technique down into 3 areas: ➡️Your technique from set up to coming off the floor. ➡️Your technique from mid-shin to just above the knee. ➡️Your technique from just above the knee to lockout. .
