) and then pressed them into some chopped dried #sweet

It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it!! My body has certainly been through the ringer. A high-risk pregnancy, failed rounds of IVF, cancer, chemo, sepsis, surgeries, and then another pregnancy.
I am proud of this body and what all it has endured! I exercise for me - for the joy it brings me, the peace of mind, the feeling of accomplishment, and to show my boys that I love taking care of myself! I’m a better mom and a better wife for it.
As I continue this journey, I’m learning more and more about myself, and loving every step of the way!

I had a victory today. A bit of backstory- in weightlifting you’re supposed to increase the weights you use every couple weeks as you get stronger. For about nine months I was just using the same weights - and eventually had to even go down in the amount of weight I was able to lift because I wasn’t eating enough to sustain myself or increase my muscles. My body had actually started to break down my muscles for fuel.
After being in recovery for a couple months I’ve physically felt better when I strength train, and in just the past couple weeks I have moved up from squatting with 20 lbs (plus the bar) to 30. Squats are always the hardest exercise for me too. I know exercising isn’t for everyone and my form may not be perfect but it has been awesome for me to feel strong again.
Exercise should be a celebration of what your body can achieve - not a punishment for what you eat. 😃
