Happy Monday to you all!
So I know I’ve got the wrong day of the week for #toofacedtuesday
but I’ve actually got some time today so I thought I’d finally bring you my thoughts on the @toofaced
Sweet Peach foundation. I picked this up on my London trip after it being in my wish list for quite some time.
I’ve been giving it a pretty good trial with different primers / powders etc so I have some thoughts.
If you like a matte finish this is the one for you! It definitely fulfils on that claim. I also picked up a deluxe sample size of the primer and the two of these together - holy moly it’s matte! Almost too matte for my liking. Bear in mind I have combination / oily skin but I’ve just found for me, the two together are just too much. It can make my skin look quite dry which is rare!
However the two separately are brilliant. If I have a foundation that is a bit too dewy, the primer underneath really helps. Do bear in mind you only need the tiniest amount of primer - a little goes a long way and too much tends to make it ball up.
Now the foundation with other primers is lovely. Definitely a medium coverage and it lasts really well on my skin.
I was matched to the shade snow which looks quite yellow but once I’ve blended it in it somehow works and covers a lot of my redness.
I also got the peach setting powder but I’ve found I don’t need it with this foundation. It works nicely with some of my more dewy foundations though.
