As a full time medic, a large part of my #bucketlist
has always been humanitarian relief work. In-fact I am hugely passionate about it! I have recently returned from a trip to Bangladesh where I was assisting with the Rohingya refugee crisis and hope to share my journey here.

Tag petugas medis yang kamu kenal!
After a very intense day-long workshop my colleague and I laughed ourselves silly taking this 80s style photo...you know you've seen a photo of one or both of your parents posing holding a random leaf in a park somewhere 😂
On a more serious note, please make sure to read through the benefits your medical aid provides. There may be benefits in there that you are not making the most of. This is especially so after having a baby.
Reading through mine a couple of days ago I discovered that, among other things, my medical aid covers a visit to a dietician and 2 psychologist visits for new mums. They don't shout on rooftops about it but they do. I plan to utilise all 3 visits and more. If you are unsure, call them and ask in detail. .
Don't miss out unnecessarily on the support you need to transition. Living in the diaspora means the support of extended family isn't readily available so make use of any and all tools that provide you with the support you need at this time. .
