A bride and her sidekick .
8 years ago I returned home for the holidays from a study abroad in Australia where I confidently told my family, “I’m going to marry him one day.” The “him” I was talking about, that was my handsome Viking. Fast forward 7 years later and I found myself in front of my family and 30+ of our Icelandic family saying I Do to the man I felt certain was destined to be my husband all those years ago. All of this is to say there is a very picture heavy post on the blog now sharing our wedding. And you just never know where life will take you. Okay I’m done, go check out all the wedding pics on the blog now, link in profile:) #justagirlandherviking
Golden hour in November on Lopez Island.... These two celebrated 10 years of being together by committing to be together for ever! Congratulations @qpo
! Wishing you many, many beautiful sunsets together. •••
It’s been three months since this wedding and I still think about these floral arrangements 😍✨
Today with Maggie & Matt was so amazing! The light was out of this world... it really didn’t feel like a November day. But it was so perfect & they were so cute 😍
“Magic blooms... only in rare souls.”
Saw the new Fantastic Beasts last night! Where are my Harry Potter people at?? Double tap if you’re die hard like this girl.
Wie cool sind diese beiden? 😍
It might not be this wintery yet but I’m dreaming back to last winters photos. For this beautiful wedding at @skibigwhite
the bride briefly braved the -28 cold for some photos...while I wore 2 jackets and 6 hand warmers ❄️
Saturday morning snuggles and lots of coffee before I meet up with some mom friends for brunch and wine tasting!! What fun things are you up to today?!

These are the moments that fuel me. The in-between moments where they forget the chaos and crazy and get to just laugh and enjoy it all. They get to just BE with each other. This is my why.
My absolute favourite thing to do is go exploring. I'll hear about a cool place, and I'll want to just go wander and find an even BETTER spot.
There is something that always pulls me back to the outdoors; as a photographer it's my job to showcase your relationship in stills for years to come, and honestly what better way to show it than in nature.
Something as beautiful as love should have a background that matches the beauty. God created both love and nature, and I feel like the majestic landscapes is a physical reflection of love. That feeling you get that warms your heart and makes you in awe of what you're experiencing is the same when you're looking at a towering mountain or when you're reflecting on the love you have in your life.
Does that make sense? It does in my brain, and it's an idea I've been pondering for quite some time. Love is pretty cool, and so are mountains and starry skies 🙌🏻
I was watching the news tonight & they were talking about how people are giving experiences instead actually gifts, so I was thinking how a date night would be an amazing gift! What is your favorite or go to date night? 🤗
I don’t have favorites but this was one grrreat day from summer! Make sure you swipe all the way to the finger guns!! (WHY IS THERE NO FINGER GUN EMOJI I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE!! 👆🏼👆🏼)
Just a few more spots in November and December! Dates on my website, message me for the link! ✨
