The day of the lunar eclipse. ~
We have a family farm nearby here. The farmhouse on these few acres of land can be a difficult place to be during sweltering conditions, but the community has grown into a great one. There is a cute little mosque that was recently built directly there where farmers and groups of volunteers can stay. The bounty of plentiful water is a big deal.
Although I couldn't quite capture the blood moon, the sight that was to come was an exciting one for everyone around. It felt cinematic, and maybe these shots do too. The general election was a couple days before this, you could say the hype was still in the air.
The boy in the first two was a real star gazer, and he didn't need a camera.
