Last week I posted about a 60 second chocolate mug cake using simple ingredients. Well, today, I turned it into an ice cream sandwich using vanilla bean ice cream from @halotopcreamery
(which btw is the closest tasting to regular ice cream 👌🏼it’s my fav-But it’s dangerous because I can eat the entire pint 🙈) Anyhow, this was fricken DESLISH!!! 🤤🤤🤤
I made one batch of the mug cake and poured it into two (2) small ramekins.
I nuked it for an 10 extra seconds to avoid it from be “lava” mug cake and it came out perfect! 👌🏼

🍫60 Second Chocolate Lava Mug Cake!
All it takes is 6 ingredients, a mug and a microwave! 🙀
Keep in mind all microwaves will differ. Be sure to keep a close eye and add additional seconds if need be. Also, if you leave it in for lil longer (extra 20 secs) it will be more cake-like and not lava-like 🙂I tried it both ways and they both turned out great! *
➡️1 TBSP Heavy Cream
➡️1/2 TSP Baking powder
➡️2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder (I used dark chocolate but any unsweetened chocolate will do)
➡️1TSP Vanilla extract
➡️2 TBSP sweetener of your choice
(I used granular @lakantosweetener
Mix altogether in a mug and microwave for 60 seconds. Allow it to cool for a few second and flip on to a plate. Top with your favorite lowcarb toppings.

I basted a #turkeyegg
in browned butter (my mom found a local seller on FB and curiosity got the best of her) and enjoyed the heck out of it, on top of the most perfectly rare steak I’ve ever made. The third pic is the turkey egg in my hand, alongside a store-bought jumbo chicken egg for comparison’s sake. Today was a good day. First day of #OMAD

Meat loaf and Brussels for my 3rd day back at keto. Had some cravings today but held strong 👏🏻
Going into my first prolonged fast. 48 hours will be the longest I have gone. I will drink water with electrolytes, tea with no creamers and ACV and lemon juice and I will take all of my supplements. I will take my multivitamin in the evening as well a shot of wheatgrass juice . I will take my stress relief which helps with my anxiety and depression and supports my adrenals in the day time. .
I know I will succeed with this fast because only I can hold myself back. .
Will be a lot of music listening, praying, and writing in my journal to go along with my support group. .
Taking one hour at a time!!
The last two days, I’ve been so tired after coming home from work that I just don’t care what I eat, I just want to eat. I’ve toyed around with the idea of actually not eating and just extending my fast into the next day, but I just haven’t gotten myself there yet. Maybe that will be something I try before the holidays 🤔😬. Last night, I had a cookie and a seltzer on my way home from a visit and that’s how I broke my 23 hour fast 😑. I came home and enjoyed all of these food veggies though. That’s a home made biscuit, but I didn’t even finish it. Tonight, I was craving fajitas, so I popped into the store to get what I needed for them! They turned out great! I enjoyed the steak with corn tortillas, avocado, sour cream, tomato con chillis, vegetarian regrows beans, and onions/peppers/onions. My problem guys? The holiday treats!! I ate 5 mini Reece’s cups instead of an apple after dinner tonight 😳Yano what though? What can I do? I’ll do better tomorrow! I’m training my brain and attitude to accept the choices I make and just move forward. This is a journey and it’s all about the learning! ... Until it’s time to feast, I survive off carbonated water, coffee, and trying to keep busy. It’s not that hard once you get used to it.
Give the one meal a day a try during the holiday season. After an evening of overindulging, try to hold off on your first meal the next day. See how you feel. You may just fall in love with one meal a day!

What do you do as a workout, how many times a week and for how long?
I weight train 3X a week 🏋🏻♀️. I was doing hot yoga 🧘🏻♀️ an additional 2/3 times a week, but have been slackin. I miss it though, so jumping back on the yogi wagon asap 🙌
Btw...Do you workout in a fasted state? Have you ever tried? What are your thoughts 🤔
