“ The Duckmen “
A man that has and is seeking to make less of him, & more of Jesus to millions of folks.
He is the General Manager for Duck Commander, a public figure for the outdoor industry, & an influencer for many major brands. His work is special, but who I have experienced him to be is an even greater beauty to me. Our time spent together in the woods hunting ducks has impacted me with great value. I am grateful for the start of our relationship & his investment in us.
He is passionate about his wife, @brittanym343
, & I can tell that he loves her so deeply & boldly.
Martin has been a part of the Duck Commander community throughout the wild ride of Duck Dynasty. He is such an intelligent human being & I could sense that just through our conversations. It is as though he has an internal data base of knowledge that just keeps kicking out useful information of great value about life, the outdoors, outdoor industry, & so much more.
With great knowledge comes great responsibility & power. With great responsibility & power yields character that is either prideful or humble. I was encouraged to experience that even with his influence, he knows God has given it to him. Martin’s humility saturated our conversations & he was open to the perspectives we brought into the conversations. That empowers me because even with much experience, he allowed us to own our experience within those woods that he invited us to.
He is a raw, real, & transparent man that yields him connecting with so many folks. As @milesadcox
would say, “Connection is a priceless commodity.” A real example of masculinity & authenticity. Eventually most folks can see through the bull crap that someone may put on, & by watching him & his friend of many years, Dustan, interact with each other in conversation, I could tell that Martin is such a connective individual that causes people wanting to be around him. Not only that, but his humor is of the kind that leaves you wanting to keep the emotion of laughter stoked. He kills ducks & hunts much harder than I expected him to. We waded into public land & he works hard to hunt birds.
