Getting into that little, zombie-girl life
Five months ago I never thought I would have a job where I had the flexibility to travel. I was sitting in a university class I hated, Googling job opportunities with very specific key words trying to figure out my next move. I had finished college with my sights set on a certain career path and wasn’t looking for anything else. Well, here we are mid-October(ish) and yesterday I spent the day in Portland sitting in a local coffee shop drinking a latte, listening to locals talk about voting in the upcoming elections, and working from my laptop.
The post-college identity crisis was something no one ever warned me about. But after a few weird months, I think I found my way to a pretty great place. ✨
This photo was taken under the St. John’s bridge in North Portland.... it’s not really relevant to this caption, but the view was amazing 🌉

Oregon's OG Brewery, Henry Weinhard's, is still the longest lasting brewery on the West Coast (1864-1999). Originally called City Brewery then Blitz-Weinhard, this complex that bares his name wasn't completed until 4 years after his death in 1904. Today it houses @henrystavern

Early summer morning at the waterfront...
Searching for Seals (mid way through) the Cape Bridgewater Seal Walk. The trail offers striking views across Cape Bridgewater. The viewing platform at the end of the trail looks out over rock platforms and on to a colony of about 650 Australian fur seals. #iamwherestoriesunfold #whaletail #greatsouthwestwalk
