The quickest, most effective way to hit your glutes would be to put stress on all glute muscles and target them from every direction! Here’s what I call my 4-way favorite (4 sets each 8-12 reps):
💜 Horizontal Kicks:
In this excersice the force is coming from the dumbbell and are going to push your legs towards the floor. Use your glutes to kick it back up with controlled movements. You don’t need to go high, you shouldn’t feel this in your lower back. (Other exercises you can do instead: kickbacks, frog kicks, donkey kicks).
💜 Vertical Gravity:
Here you are working against the gravity of your body and the dumbbell which switching direction all the time. Push your feet to the ground and contract the glutes to straightening your leg. (Other exercises you can do instead: all kinds of squats, lunges, deadlifts).
The force of the resistance band will pull your legs in towards each other and you are gonna use force your gluteus medius to do the opposite (push your leg away from your body). (Other exercise you can do instead: Hip Abduction chair, hip abduction using cable machine).
💜 Horizontal Pushes:
The rubber band push your hip/pelvic to the ground and your knee joint is almost still which force the hip(glutes) to do the movement. squeeze at top! (Other exercise you can do instead: Glute bridge, hip thrusts, single leg thrusts).

I have an abundance mentality:
When people are genuinely happy at the success of others, the pie gets larger. At the same time, if I’m not successful, no one is going to come and console me.
I honestly and truly believe that if you think you can do something, you can do it! Dream really really really big! We all have the power to be the ABSOLUTE BEST that we can possibly be, the trick is finding that power and then not being afraid to use it.
Wake up everyday, grind harder than yesterday. Chase paper, be grateful, stay humble, empower others, spread knowledge, learn from others, and above all else, stay positive ❤️ Positivity will get you everywhere in life ❤️ 220ish lbs to 133lbs. Here is my journey.
Tons of growth mentality, physically, socially. I’ve lost in all those areas too. It’s a push-pull thing. You gain one thing, and need to let go of another. Balance.
I sometimes think about how differently the last 5 years of my life could have played out. I think about how, really, I almost didn’t make it. I try my best to remind myself that I’m only getting this one life. 24 hours in a day. 7 days in a week. I want to use it! I want to live it! I WANT to LIVE life... Again, I have an abundance mentality.
And on that note, it’s a great day to be alive folks❣️❣️

When you’re constantly looking in the mirror to see if you’ve lost or gained weight. One day you’re happy with your body, the next you hate it. Self love is so important but I feel like we lose that when we are sooooo wrapped up in looking lean, shredded, bulky, whatever the outcome may be. Love yourself for who you are, stop comparing yourself to others and don’t ever feel like you’re not good enough - because you fucking are 🙌🏽❤️

▶️ 14K: Il commence à faire chaud, un peu trop d’ailleurs. 😬 Une belle côte à l’abris du vent nous attend... avant de basculer vers le 15eme Kilomètres ! 💭👍
▶️ 15K: Je passe le pointage avec encore une avance sur mon objectif de 2h05 🤓👌✅ ... mais il fait vraiment chaud 🌡
▶️ 16K: Il fait trop chaud... 😨Mon corps est une cocotte minute 🤯, je transpire, j’ai chaud mais je frissonne malgré tout.. Il est trop tard. 😞😞 L’isolation est là... et la galère commence...
▶️ 19K: Je marche, je m’asperge d’eau en tentant de refroidir mon corps. J’avance plus, les minutes défilent. L’Objectif maintenant c’est de finir... 😖💪
▶️ 21K: 🏁🏁 Finish. L’ambiance est folle à l’arrivée, les spectateurs s’écartent au fur et à mesure qu’on avance. C’est génial ! 👍 On oublie les galères du jour, et on va finir son 4ème semi-marathon ! 🏅🏅🏅🏅

Just a bikini girl who wants to grow some decent arms & delts 💁🏼♀️ reverse dieting week 1 nearly over... no one actually tells you that the hard bit is post competition! The moods, the dieting with no specific goal as such, the feeling lost but ending my week with better moods and energy. Going into an off season with a coach is definitely a good decision too 😬

Prepping has always come at a good time for me whether it be a bad break up, work stress, moving, etc . It gives me something to focus on, and forces me to grow mentally too not just physically.
It forces discipline, sacrifice, and patience. It’s forced me to learn more about me (some good, some not so good) where I learned how I act at my weakest, and also at my strongest.
Aside from the mental growth, I’ve always been a naturally competitive person .. so while I’m very grateful to have competed at PITT & Francois, I’m not satisfied with my results.
SO IM GONNA KEEP GRINDING YA’LL. Next up, INDIANA, AUG 4.
