Just some late night reading finally. I used to devour books and now find myself way too consumed with Netflix and social media wah wah
I have been wanting to read this book by @caroline.myss
for ages and after 5 years of loading up on other great spiritual material reading this is like slipping back into conversation with an old friend. I am experiencing a desire to learn, to study and become more knowledgeable on life, the Universe, Natural Law, mysticism, religious philosophies, the origin of our existence, magic, energy, spirits, divination...you get the picture.
Maybe it was because my parents loved talking about the book Chariot of the Gods or my obsession with the movie The Craft, but even younger still I felt drawn to nature and magic and pretty much all things occult or new agey and am rediscovering this passion again after hiding it away for so many years. The great thing is so many other women are also doing the same thing and coming out of the "broom" closet and reawakening the wise and wild women within. We are being called to being the world back into balance, to return to an existence based on love and service.
Women are potent, magical creatures who have the ability to heal and we need to be at the right hand of our men, not beneath them, or behind them. We are Queens, Goddesses, Witches and have been denied the knowledge and use of our primordial instincts.
We have been twisted, and bent, and broken, and reshapen to function in this current system. We have been drained of our life force, our light diminished, our hearts broken.
We carry the lives of our ancestors in our DNA, we carry the pain and trauma, the love and strength and sheer will. We are remembering how to put a stop to generational trauma by remembering who we are and why we are here and teaching our children and partners, our communities how to choose love by choosing themselves.
I am in constant awe of what I witness daily coming from the women on my news feed out there slaying it. It drives me to want to share my voice and keep showing up, even if that looks gawky and awkweird at first maybe.
Change is like that <3
