The first step in this strategy is research. If you aren't researching or learning about how to start that business, run that business or just a part of that space, then how will leaving your job be justified?
Not only can this quote be applied to the strategic quitting strategy, it can be used for anyone who is currently trying to advance themselves at their current career.
If you don't do the research, you will never know what to expect. If you want a change and you don't research before making that change, the chances of failure are incredibly high.
