Today I photographed 5 families and it was beautiful and I am honored and I am tired. It took about same amount of time as one full session and I took about the same amount of photos. But I learned that when I photograph a family, it takes a lot of my heart. I leave with all the feels. Like when I got to photograph this mama - there are so many reasons that was so special. So to do mini sessions this morning really left me spinning. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s full session (for many reasons including it’s of the gal who inspired me to buy this big ole camera I get to use).
Sorry I’ve been a little MIA. Life got the best of me these last couple months but I’m not letting that get me down! I am catching up on finishing editing my last summer and some family shoots I’ve done! Today I went on a fun adventure through Pike Place market with @rosecolored_shades
for some photos for her blog! Super excited to share those! I promise you’ll see more of me the rest of 2018 😍😍😍 On that note: who needs family Christmas pictures?! Let’s set a date!
Yesterday was my birthday! Husband and I are on the Olympic Peninsula for the weekend and reception is scarce. I am rarely in front of the camera, but I am so happy I took a few images the other night and let hubby play photographer! Happy birthday to me and hello to those of you who have never seen me in a photo❤️
Sweet little Leena is only a few weeks younger than our Liesel, future BFFs! 😆 Todd and Meghan are old friends, and we actually did their engagement photos together at this exact spot 6 years ago. I love watching families grow!
It’s gorgeous out & I’m so looking forward to the mini sessions we have scheduled for this afternoon! ✨
I can’t with this adorable family!! How cute are they?? They’re busy boys kept me on my toes during the shoot, but we managed some really great shots! I’m off to be a soccer mom, then pumpkin patch with the fam!! Let the Saturday fun day begin!! Cheers you guys!!
Happy weekend everyone!! I got to sleep in just for a little today 😆 life with three boys keeps you on your toes! Look at how beautiful this mama is waiting on her baby boy 😍 and come on #pnw
you amaze me every time! #natalietkachukphotography
Being a stay at home mom is exhausting. Both mentally and physically. For me personally the hardest part is engaging all day long. I reach a point where I crave distraction.
My distraction is social media, I zone out on my phone.
Something I am not proud of, but honestly struggle with.
I have been inspired by a friend of mine to do a 10 day social media fast.
To take purposeful time engaging with my family distraction free.
So see you all in 10 days! ✌️🎉❤️
The best part of picking apples is sampling the different kinds before you pick them.
Equestrian session with the Tegelers & their newest family member, Amigo 🐴
There's something extra special about capturing your friends/neighbors/possible future In-Laws...
But even if there wasn't something special about this family, I'd LOVE this shot anyway!!
Sneak peek from tonight! 💫
More to come...

There are just a few more days of this warm sun and I plan to lay in the grass with it glaring in my eyes just like this 4 year old. Then I’ll join most of Seattle’s cozy loving scarf wearing I don’t need an umbrella crowd with a smile. @karakdunn
“Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” More of this precious family on the blog. #babyphotosmakemecry
