This morning I took the time to shine up some silverware I got at frenchy's. The salad forks are the best to grab greens in salads.I also love the teaspoons because they are deep. So a bit of silvo and they are so shinny. When I started they looked like the ones on the counter.#silverware #silvo #antique

We are delighted to offer this solid silver card case featuring a distinctive bright cut engraved design, made by silversmith David Pettifer in Birmingham, 1848.
Needless to mention, the exterior is embellished heavily with an acanthus leaf design that features overlapping leaves that mimics somewhat of a floral/flower design.
A monogrammed cartouche is present on one side of the case with the letters "RH"
The sides are highly polished with a minimalistic scrolled border design. The hinge and lid of the case are in original working condition with a perfectly smooth hinge and tight closure. .
The case is fully hallmarked with the maker's mark, date mark (1848), silver lion, Victorian head and the Birmingham assay mark.
An excellent addition for any uncompromising collector both aesthetic display or for practical usage for stylish card storage. .

I don't often post about work but: I'm so happy and so incredibly proud of my team!
I keep remembering the kick-off meeting where a colleague mentioned that he wanted us to reach for award winning comms. We knew we could do it, and would do our best, but tonight is something special.
A comms team share what's needed to be known, good or bad, and we know a road closure is never amazing news but tonight we were recognised for the lengths we went to ensure all were aware.
Thank you to our partners and thank you to the Engagement Team of the Midland Metro Alliance, past and present, who helped make this an award winning comms campaign.
Special thanks to Cadisha and Heidi who wrote this submission. The team is very successful in selling the success of others within the alliance but this is the first time we put ourselves forward for an award and we achieved something incredible - a win on our first nomination.
A final thank you to ICE East and West Midlands. I'm currently traveling home on the tram and there's no better way to travel tonight! Birmingham Westside is coming! See you all next year!
