The brothers of two England footballers were beaten and robbed at gunpoint while eating breakfast at a cafe in Manchester.
Dane Rashford, brother of Manchester United striker Marcus, and Tyler Alexander-Arnold, sibling of Liverpool defender Trent, were at the Littlerock cafe in the Moss Side area when three men armed with a shotgun, machete and baseball bats swooped on the premises on Saturday morning, according to police sources.
Mr Rashford and Mr Alexander-Arnold were taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary after the attack. A third man, said to be their friend, was injured.
The assailants stole a white Range Rover after taking keys and a wallet from Mr Alexander-Arnold, a white BMW 3 series and a watch that belonged to Mr Rashford.
The Range Rover was later found abandoned around two miles away in Fallowfield. Two guns were found in a nearby bush and seized by police as part of their investigation.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have arrested six people - four men aged 18, 19, 23 and 58 and two teenagers aged 17 - on suspicion of robbery. Credit @telegraph
