TRANSCENDENTAL. That’s what I’m saying to @ayannapressley
after her remarks at Temple Isreal in Brookline this past Friday. Listening to her I was rapt - time stood still and I never wanted it to end. Meeting her I was cast in her #starpower
- she makes you feel like you are the only person in the room. I was especially moved by her humanization of #martinlutherkingjr
and her inspiring words for women: it is right to be outraged and we do not have to smile our way through injustice.
Many thanks to the dynamo @flourisheternal
for inviting me to this remarkable event and for her huzzpah in marching right up to meet our #Massachusetts #congresswoman
who is ruffling feathers in the most beautiful way possible.
Being around other women who do not stand in their own way is particularly #inspiring
to me. With the lunar eclipse of last night I released “the need to fight against myself”. It surprised me this came up but it makes sense and I know I’m not the only one who creates self-imposed barriers.
As the words from that night continue to #resonate
I am filled with #optimism
that the fight is well worth the #victory
Also so much gratitude to @abranger
for the invitation and for raising an igniting woman in her own right - her 16-year-old daughter Georgia got up in front of 1,000 people and introduced AP.
May the cycle of #courage
