Never done these split stance dumbbell deadlifts before but damn they hurt! Superset with narrow smith squats, then single leg stiff deads and some tempo squats. Some of today’s leg exercises after deadlifts, paused deadlifts and a quick but nasty wod: 5RFT 21 double unders 14 wall balls 7 hspus. Happy to get all the double unders and hspus unbroken 😊

It’s ok to be happy.
I know that may sound strange, but it’s something that I have always struggled with. I would guilty and upset at myself for being even just ok with my current conditions.
Because in my mind, I had to look the best, act the best, achieve everything in life,
be the best of the best to ever be content with my life.
How could I be happy if I wasn’t?
I only focused all I “needed” to achieve, and neglected to appreciate all the HAD achieved.
Anything short of perfect wasn’t worth an ounce of happiness or joy.
And that is a very toxic mindset to have.
You know why, because I probably will never be “perfect.”
I will always have things I could learn, work or improve on.
So my life would a constant cycle of disappointment, not truly enjoying myself.
That’s why I made a change.
I REFUSED to continue living my life like that and waste it away.
So today I challenge you to take a minute to congratulate yourself on all your achievements and successes, and all the work that you have and continue to put in.
And if you know someone who needs this reminder, tag them.
Because NOBODY deserves deprivation of happiness💗

Pretty spinner variation from Monday!
I always remember to try to film non leg related things at the end of my workouts when I’m more fatigued and after all of the good stuff is done🤷🏻♀️. Oh well, I tried at least lol. Last set of my last exercise. Today was shoulders and abs. So just to give people an idea of what I do on a typical shoulder day since I don’t usually share my workouts on here, typically I’ll do a few tri-sets of two shoulder exercises followed by one bench ab exercise for four rounds. For example my first tri-set was around the worlds, external rotations and bench straight leg raises, repeated for four rounds. Then onto the next tri-sets. After those are done, I’ve been going and doing some cable supersets with a light weight just to really burn them out(which I love) and then, if I have time, I’ll finish with ten minutes of cardio. So today was the stair master. So yeah, maybe I’ll start sharing more videos and actual workouts. We shall see!
