Let’s talk sleep and stress! If your cortisol (stress hormone) levels are consistently high throughout the day your hormones for sleep are affected, and if you don’t sleep, your cortisol remains high. It’s such a viscous cycle! If cortisol remains high, well, that can create a ton of problems such as immune system issues, weight gain, anxiety, depression...the list goes on! I’ve dealt with sleep issues in the past as I’m sure many of you have. Let’s be honest....it’s horrible!
