Throwback to Bali - Jan 2018 ✈
This was our second overseas trip with Jayda, she was 9 months old and it was amazing! Mind you, travelling with a 9 month old had more challenges than when she was only 4 months, but then when she was 16 months and we decided to head back to Thailand... Now they were challenging flights!! See you next time Bali when we have two 👶👶 .

Dad and his girl ✨ There’s just something so magic about seeing the partners in your life carry our babies, not just because it’s giving us a break, but watching the trust and the emotional bonds form is simply beautiful! When our babies know they have more than mama to rely on, it encourages their independence and their feeling of belonging all at the same time 🧡

We never really went on King Arthur’s Carrousel until we had children. Sitting on this ride smack dab in the middle of Fantasy Land is actually (surprisingly to us) pretty magical ✨ It kind of makes us feel like we have been transported back in time. It’s a sweet combination of enjoying an attraction and people watching all rolled up into one. 🎠✨

Is your pet a part of your family? Our dog Edge absolutely is! 💕 When I first fell pregnant, lots of friends told me that she would be cast to the side a little when the baby arrived, but I feel that she’s now just as integral to the family as ever, joining in on all of the craziness that goes around here 😜 The only time it’s been a little challenging having such a large dog is when we were planning our overseas trip in December. We actually almost didn’t go as it was so hard to find someone to housesit and who was also able to give Edge all of the exercise and love she needs 🐺 If only we knew about @trustedhousesitters
earlier! It’s an app that connects homeowners who love to travel with trusted house sitters who’ll look after their pets for free! This could be seriously life changing for us! HAPPY SATURDAY!! ✨✨ We are trying to hold on to our Mickey Ears because life has hit us hard in the face once when we all got home 🤣 Sick kiddos, messy houses, piles of laundry, and sad looking fridges/pantries🤷🏼♀️🤷🏻♀️
As we are trying to get readjusted, we are hoping that all of you are having a great weekend! 😘✨
Loved exploring the little alleys of Mdina. We deliberately waited until dark to head here so we could see the beautiful lanterns lit up along the streets. The main gate to this walled town was used as the entrance to Kings Landing in Game of Thrones.
I think now I know why David Hockney used so much colour in his work, and it was to bright up cloudy days like today's... And now I will bring a bit of this to our home back in London... We visited the mill in Saltaire, and as it was so windy we found the perfect spot to hang around with our little bundle of joy! Highly recommend 💕👌🏼#davidhockney #saltairemill #bradford #travellingwithbabies
Our wheels for the next few months. This beach wagon is probably my best Amazon purchase EVER! We were able to check this foldable wagon like a stroller for our flight, we use it to get groceries, water and to carry the kids (who like being held a lot!) And it's great in the sand! If you're travelling to a beach with little ones, get one!!

When you're so tired you need naps mid walkies.
Safety and comfort for our littlest passengers and their family is our main concern
Double naps are better than spotting a wild rainbow unicorn 🙌🦄 Traveling with kids is effing HARD. I'm not complaining at all, this is totally our choice to live this lifestyle, but taking them out of their (and our) cushy routines is so different for them, everything we've worked so hard for at home goes out the door; naps, sleep, routine. I post this because I want people to know it's not all beaches and smiles when we're away, most of my photos are... But the reality of it is it is WAY easier to stay home! What makes it worth it for me are the experiences, the girls getting to see and live in a different culture, learn a new language, play outside all day, and gives us the time to truly bond as a family. I need to keep reminding myself of that when I'm up all night with a fussy baby and trying to put down 2, hot, sticky exhausted kids for a nap just so that I can have an hour to sit in a hammock and recharge for the rest of the day. Oh life, you are hard sometimes but I effing love you, easy and hard, it's all (mostly) beautiful 🌈
We are trying to get back in the swing of everyday life after the holidays and our vacation! Feeling the Disney blues 😭 Just keep swimming!
Who will be waiting when you walk out of these doors , we will be ..
Explorations with dad 🍃
Crossing the straps across dads chest is a great way to wear the carrier when in back carry - it’s a little tricky for us mums to wear this way but it’s perfect for the menfolk if this is how they feel comfortable. 👌🏽 @shaniaaomaraa

Today we embarked on our first major travelling experience with the boys. We left Glamma @dartown
at home for a little rest and relaxation along with some much needed silence. We headed from one cold snowy city to another cold and snowy city!! From Alberta To Ontario to spend a week with my side of the family, a lot of whom haven’t seen the boys since the first month or so after birth. Oh how so much has changed!!! It may not be a sun, sand and beach vacation but it’s time with family and that’s the best!
All three little ones did fantastic on the plane!! No real screaming, losing their mini marbles or major meltdowns. Security was a breeze, and of course the flight crew instantly fell in love with the boys!! Thankfully we had @graveheaart
and Britt to help with baby number three, oh the joys of being outnumbered!! He was an independent little man today, sitting two rows up from moms and brothers. He showed his face every so often to let us know he was a super star!!
Thanks to @flyswoop
for the great support team in the air and on the ground! A minor hour delay but again the boys handled it like seasoned travellers !!
3 car seats
6 extra bottles of water
1 diaper bag
1 extra diaper bag with toys
1 rented mini van
And 1 very busy week of visiting with family and friends!!
I think we would risk saying we’d do that again!! But we will wait and see on the way home if it was just beginners luck or maybe they really are just great little travel companions.

This past week has been obviously beautiful because of the place we are in, but equal to all the beauty and gratefulness has been a great deal of stress and heartbreak because Lake suddenly stopped nursing... Until today.
Ten months of regular nursing, day and night, every 3-4 hours came to an abrupt halt a little over a week ago the moment we landed in Ecuador. To start out, Lake had a terrible cold/flu/congestion/teething... Not sure exactly what it was but we assumed that all the congestion and pressure from the flight made it incredibly painful for her to nurse. So every time I tried she screamed and turned away. After an exhausting and painful first night I finally started hand expressing because I didn't bring a pump thinking I wouldn't need it because I'd be with my baby the whole time. Hand expressing was hard, my hand were sore and I felt like I wasn't getting everything out, and on top of that, the emotional component became even more of a struggle for me, missing that closeness with my baby and coming to terms with the fact that I may never nurse again, as we're pretty sure she'll be our last baby. Ryan helped me out by 'nursing' when my hands were sore and the expression just wasn't working for me anymore, that in itself was a new level for our relationship, but I was grateful he was helping me keep my supply up during this extreme situation.
Anyways, after 7 days of offering her my milk in multiple different vessels and continuing to offer her to nurse she FINALLY started nursing again last night!! And my life is complete again... Now we are just trying to nurse as much as possible to get my supply back up. I also found a very appropriate podcast all about hand expressing, that I wish I listened to a week ago (yoga, birth, babies by Deb Flashenburg). Also I had some great advice and support from @serenitydoulacare
, thank you ladies ❤️ Now my vacation can begin 😂
Perfecting his blue steel.
You are my Sunshine girl Isla Skye☀️
We ❤️ Ecuador. Took a trip into Montanita, we love ourselves our sand-ground restaurants... Isla will play for HOURS in the sand, it's amazing to watch. And our Lakey girl is FINALLY better after having a rough cold and cough for over a week 😂
Afternoon hangs while @rykelo
works 🌴So many people ask how we travel for so long, and the reality of it is Ryan can work from anywhere being a web designer @butterwebdesign
. We're pretty damn lucky to live this life and get to escape our winters ❤️ Thanks for keeping the dream alive @rykelo
Missed adventures with this one today.
No one seems to know much about these tunnels in the cliffs at Bingemma Gap; there is no information board and not much on Google. There are about 100 different tunnels scattered across the cliff edge which are beautifully carved and some even have stairs inside. Great fun to explore.
Sun setting behind the Victoria Lines.
Glimpses of the Victoria Lines.
The heat is REAL here ☀️ Lake's got her 'Latin American air conditioning' down 😂 Travelling with babies is a whole other ball game. Getting used to this new pace and feeling grateful to be able to spend a few months in Ecuador #lakeybae #travellingwithbabies #ecuador
Pausing for a rest amid the beauty of Valletta.
The sun is shinning on us today in Sdyney. We are so grateful to have such inspiring successful friends in so many different ways and walks of life. Sharing their time and roof with Monkey and I. I was always somewhat ashamed or to proud taking up kind offers even when I really needed it the most. Having the buba has made me realise sometimes I could do with the help and kindness of others. It really is about sharing with those that you love without a second thought. It’s ok to receive the love from others as you know in your heart you too share yours. #TIndia2019 #goodfriends #pyrmontsydney #travelwithbaby #travellingwithbabies #motheranddaughter #love #dailydiary #ayearinthelife #2019
Happy New Year Beauties! ✨
After a magical week spent with my family, and then an emotional morning this morning of farewells (Don’t go Nana 😭😭😭) I am ready to begin 2019!! Here we go... I’m so excited to share this journey with you all! 💃🏽💃🏽 xx .

But where are all the pigeons I hear you ask? Introducing Valletta's official pigeon chaser.
Seriously old temples behind us.
Decided we could make our own coast path rather than walking along the winding road and then didn't want to turn back when it got a bit steep...but we made it unscathed.
