Sometimes I just grab weights and move in whatever way feels good. Nothing organized, no counting, no repetition. I love working on my hamstrings and shoulders. I just moved with the weights and when it got tough, I switched. 😎 Pretty easy and a nice way to break up my puzzle-making and Great British Baking Show watching. ✌️

Was in an experimental mood today so tried some new things!
Trying to add more plant based options into my routine again. Dont cook with tofu much but tried this broccoli spinach quiche on chickpea crust for lunch which was delish!
Dinner I had cauliflower to use so instead of my usual roast cauliflower I made 'cheezy' whipped cauliflower.

Box joint jig by Incra works great! Took me a little longer than expected to get it dialed in, but an hour of practice went a long way. I used some scrap with tear out, pencil marks etc, so while this particular box isn't the most beautiful end product it'll pave the way for lots of future builds!
I drink out of this cup almost everyday but I only recently started to pay attention to what it's been telling me.

Like me, are you a creature of comfort? 🤔
Being a city girl I was use to certain things such as public transport links readily available, getting dolled up whenever I wanted, eating at nice restaurants, staying indoors whenever the weather was bad etc. 🏙
When I moved to Spain I got even more complacent and realised that my life was becoming stagnant and somewhat depressing. I thrive in circumstances that allow me to grow so I knew I needed a dramatic change. ☹
Fast forward 19 months and I've camped for a week through Iceland's worst summer in 100 years, trekked giant hills, sat in hot pools in -9°C winter nights, walked through storms, helped tend to tomato greenhouses and are now backpacking across New Zealand through all weather conditions. 🏔
By choosing to kick my comfort zone to the curb, I've been making great memories, new friends, useful contacts and discovering my true potential as well as my ability to adapt. 😀
