Sheriff seeks Volunteers in Patrol.
Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is looking for a few good men and women to volunteer at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office as Volunteers in Patrol.
They would join a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to run errands, check on properties and perform other duties that do not require a sworn officer.
The VIPs serve as extra eyes and ears in the community, Sheriff Boudreaux said. They deter crime just by their uniformed presence in the community.
“We don’t know how many times someone was about to do something criminal and changed his mind because a VIP was on patrol in the county,” he said. “I appreciate their hard work.”

At #GallopNYC , we use therapeutic horsemanship to inspire our riders to live their lives as independently as possible. That’s why we are so proud that this young rider took the initiative to write out his own goals for the winter session! "I would like to learn how to focus" is just one of the goals that volunteers can help our riders achieve. Sign up to volunteer and help our riders reach their goals. #BelieveInAbility#Goals#Wintersession#volunteers

Be a Happehatchee Volunteer!
Volunteering at Happehatchee is a rich and rewarding experience, one in which you will make new friends, learn new things, and connect with nature. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, from young teens with their parents to college students, working professionals and retired active mature adults. Depending upon what you like to do, your duties can change each visit or stay as constant as you like.
Some of the regular needs here at Happehatchee Cener are office and yard work, maintenance and event set-up. With five 1/2 acres of natural growth. The grounds are always in need of attention. We do not manicure the campus, although we do prune, preen, and remove excess brush to keep the plants and trees healthy.
Volunteering is a big part of what Happehatchee is all about! The Happehatchee Center is run by passionate and dedicated volunteers. It's an amazing opportunity for our Southwest Florida community to come together for the preservation and development of this special place. If you're interested in volunteering, please complete our Volunteer Application Form below. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you. If you have any questions, direct message us or fill out a volunteer application on our website at www.happehatchee.org/volunteer

Women from our Day Center worked with volunteers to create this collaborative #painting that will be on display in a window at the @amazon Arizona Building at Boren and John until March. Join us outside the window on Monday, January 22 between 10:15-11am for cider, cookies, and #art viewing!
I was up early to chat to my dear family in Ireland and then out to my little garden with my helper before the heat. The smell of smoke was still strong in the air early this morning and I heard the fire truck backing into the fire station. Thanks to all the volunteer fire fighters who put their lives in danger to keep us and our loved ones safe. You are all heroes. And to all paid emergency services too, you are all heroes and do a wonderful job. 💕
Last night of the excellent Lumiere Festival. This was a giant game of Pong projected onto the Imagination building on Store Street. Lovely to see so many volunteers in action welcoming festival goers, providing directions etc. 🤩👍✨ #Lumiere#volunteering#volunteer#volunteers#camden
