This is one of my favourite everyday staples. When whizzed together with sambal or cilicuka paste, and a tiny hint of sesame oil, smells like Hainanese chicken rice. You know, the healthy incarnation. Cruciferous vegetables are rich in diindolymethane, the stuff that regulates your hormones and gives you beautiful skin. Plus it’s the perfect way for me to sneak raw garlic into my body without having my mouth burn up. If you’re lazy, all you need is to grab ready-made ‘cauliflower couscous’. Also stir a dash of light soya sauce, nori, parsley, cumin seeds, fresh cilantro, fresh grapefruit, ginger and coriander powder and smoked sea salt. And lots of lime juice. Like seriously, squeeze as many limes until your skin smarts the way your eyes burn up from chopping onions without contact lenses.
