There are a zillion (I’m rounding up) pictures of me doing kettlebell swings here. None of them with me wearing a Larry Bird jersey. I’ve never owned one...until the other day when my son gave me my birthday present a week early. He couldn’t wait any longer. He’s been at his first job for almost six months now and been saving most of his money. He splurged on him mother at Mother’s Day and on this jersey for me. ⠀
I don’t know how you raise a good kid. I think most of it is done prior to their birth when you choose their other parent. I can’t explain how that choice was made, by I know it was a great one. And since it’s mostly a generic thing, it also has to do with my parents. I didn’t have any say in that, but I definitely hit the lottery. Then, of course there’s the crowd they hang out with as they grow up (he seems to have done a decent job there) and yeah...a little of the example my wife and I set. And honestly, we fell short for for a few years there. Eating poorly, not exercising, not doing much of anything but eating junk and watching television. Getting comfortable at being comfortable. I wish I would’ve been better, but I can’t change that. All I can do is set the best example I can now.⠀
So, in a sea of pictures of me doing kettlebell swings, this is the only one where I’m wearing a Larry Bird jersey gifted to me by my son, who bought it with money he’s earned at his first job. ⠀
It would be the greatest gift I’ve ever received, if he wasn’t already the greatest gift.⠀

For most of the year I train @cfsrnn
an underground Crossfit box in Helsinki, but I like to travel and I want to keep my level of fitness while I do!
Check out the videos, it's been everything I've needed for a 3 month trip in Australia.
If anyone gets the chance to go up the east cost Surfing, camping, working out, meeting people this is all you need. This set up you could travel with 1 other person (just move the esky in the back while riding). The good thing about the swag is when it gets really hot you can just set it up outside and sleep on the beach.
Tips: the gold coast you have to pay everywhere for camping. I actually had the "camping police" bang on my window at 1am saying I have to move on or get a fine.
Tip 2: plan out your camping areas before you set out. Do a bit of research and that way you want have to slum it in some dodgey free car park.
The car is pretty cheap like 800 AUD but be sure you get a reliable one that's not going to break down on you. Stay safe and e joy 💪🤙
