I am beyond thankful to have continued this amazing positivity project beyond The University of Florida. Thank you to my incredible peers for making this positivity project possible. I’m looking forward to revamping my Posi Projects, get ready y’all🤗

This hasn’t been the best week as far as getting up in the morning😒but it has definitely tested us. After a long day the last thing we want to do is hit the gym🤷🏾♂️I’m just saying. I don’t know about y’all, but we like to chill out and relax after work. So needless to say, this week has tested us mentally. We’ve been tired going into these late night workouts but we’ve pushed through em🏋🏾♂️🏋🏾♀️🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♀️💪🏾💪🏾

I used to get asked quite often why I didnt drink, go out, get lit, smoke, party, etc.
Eventually people stopped asking and started labeling me as a fitness freak, weirdo, loser. You name it. It then became quite apparent that they wanted nothing to do with me as if without drinkin I wasn't worth their time.
What they didn't understand or see is what I saw from around the age of 8 to 15. I saw a single mother wake up at 4:30, 4 mornings a week, to go swim or run with elite athletes. I then saw that same mother come back and pack our lunches until she taught us how to. She would then see us off to the bus as she worked her primary job. My siblings and I would then stay after school while she picked up another job. Then when the weekend came she went to go work jobs 3 and 4 while I watched over my siblings. Did I mention that she also took all of us to our sports activities and never complained? Did I mention that my father verbally disrespected her numerous times? Did I mention that he left her with 3 kids and HIS debt? Did I mention that he used to rage and throw heavy/large objects at her? Did I mention that we had to move several times dispite my Ma's efforts. Did I mention that she put EVERYTHING aside to provide for us? Did I mention that she gave us UNCONDITIONAL love? I could continue for miles, but ya'll get the point.
So when people ask me why I dont drink or go out ppsshh...man I can't help but smile and shake my bald ass dome. Ya'll will never get it because you just simply weren't there to witness what I did at 8 years old. @therock

1 month of not doing weights since my injury doing CrossFit to be honest I’m very very competitive and I wanted to do exercises I never done before hence why I got myself a back pain. Tonight I started again, game on! Let’s make today count💪🏻 night y’all 💋
