As I sit and reflect this morning about my greatest blessings, so many of them stem from this community right here. The personal and professional growth, the GRIT I have developed, the creativity, the leadership, and best of all, the friendships.

Friends, three years ago I grabbed a starter kit of oils from a friend reppin Young Living . I NEVER imagined I would get a support system and community like this. Oils are legit, and everyone needs them in their home, but THIS is what life is all about. This is how we are meant to live this life together.
This morning we will join in gathering again in our local area. To simply, be in community and I could not be more excited to hug and catch up with them.

My past has been littered with amazing people and past relationships with wonderful people. But I can say today that there is no relationship I have felt more myself in than the one I am in right now..... Looking back to the past years, I saw myself and noticed that I tend to be a reactive person. Meaning, I to react to everything, good or bad. (I like to blame my outgoing personality 😂) I either had something to say, had to take a picture of something, find a solution and basically just felt the need or urge to do or say something about anything or everything.
But I realized, we don’t need a reaction for everything. Simply just observance.
There’s times I would notice tension or anxiety would start to creep up if I’m always reacting. To everything. Feeling I needed to address something or have an answer or solution to anything. There’s just certain things that don’t need your reaction. Just observe it. Like a sunset. Just observe the beauty of it— nothing more, nothing less. It doesn’t need a reaction from you. (Not going to lie, when I first got my apartment, my balcony has these gorgeous views of the sunset. And I took 100 pictures that literally looked the same and I never truly enjoyed the colors and the way it hit the clouds. And now, I simply observe the beauty of it, and also because I got 100 shots of it already lol)
Then comes our thoughts in our minds. Our minds are constantly chattering about everything and anything. Good and bad; and believe it or not, more so bad (especially at this day and age of vast negative news everywhere). A lot of what ifs, insecurities and self doubts. But learning to not react to the ‘bad’ takes mad skill. We don’t need to react to every single thought that comes across our mind. And most especially, we don’t need to react to the negativity in our mind; just simply observe them. Don’t act on it. Don’t stop yourself from doing something you want simply because a negative ‘what if’ or doubt popped up in your mind. Just be like, “oh that’s cute, another negative thought”. Observe, acknowledge and simply move on. And I’m learning to master this skill day by day, and it’s pretty legit how good you can get, lol!!
Learning to not react so much, but to observe more.
