The pastry is good, very pliable, the whole preparation is rather fluid and you don’t find yourself in a mess trying to follow various steps. Of course you should have read the whole thing first before getting on the move.
I had a documentary on Venice playing in the background - it helped keep me awake as baking at midnight has its challenges when one is sleep deprived. And in the end all went swimmingly, and I’ll be a happy soul come lunch time.
I strongly recommend this tart if you like mushrooms - I had oysters, shitake, and a couple more I cannot recall. The savory custard is gentle, and works more like a backdrop. Como fiz esta torta pra comer no almoço amanhã (não a torta toda), queria realmente ter feito mini tortas. Mas a preguiça de fazer o bake blind de umas 4 tortinhas me levou a fazer a torta no tamanho original.
