Due to my job I live in big urban cities like #delhi
.However I love rural and village life because so much culture and traditions are alive there..People are deeply connected and they enjoy festivals more than urban people .Life become double the fun when festivals are celebrated at community level.Village fairs are my favourite.Yesterday however I felt to happy when I visited this historic Mela(fair) of Delhi.
Set in urban landscape,Delhi’s famous #LavKushRamleela
has started.People are enjoying Ramleela, ten day long storytelling of victory of Lord Rama over tyrannical demon king Ravana. The mood of this urban fair was superb.Visitors of this cultural fair were seen enjoying the storytelling and all other associated fun activities. There are many yummy food stalls too. From Balloon sellers to toy sellers everyone is adding to the joy. Sweetsellers like Gulab Jamun seller is doing some brisk business.Jadogar, the Magician’s stalls were also full.Kids are enjoying all kinds of daredevil swings.Young and old all were enjoying fun in every possible form. It was as if happiness was flowing from every nook and cranny of this fair .Urban life seems so much full of life and joy here. This ten day fair is our chance to be back to childhood and enjoy life free of worry and hustle and bustle of a mega city .
