Everyone needs a little side planking in their lives! We often forget about the side plank in our workouts. Not only does it work the shoulder girdle stabilizers, transverse abs and internal obliques like the regular prone plank, it also works the glute medius and QL, both of which are important with low back health. - Here are a few side plank challenges you can try on the stability ball. You’ll need to be able to do a regular static side plank on the ball first in order to attempt these exercises. If you’ve never done a side plank on a stability ball before, start with your legs staggered and work toward stacking the legs one on top of the other. The wider your legs are staggered, the wider your base of support and therefore the more stability you’ll have. Homemade High protein vegan Chocolate Cake!! Ingredients: -1 tbsp ground almonds -1 tbsp cocoa powder -2 tbsp @myproteinuk vegan chocolate protein powder -1/4 tsp baking powder -1 and half tbsp almond butter -1 tbsp maple syrup -3 tbsp plant based milk (oat, almond, soy, coconut etc) -1 tbsp chocolate chips Method: 1. Mix the ground almonds, protein powder, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl. 2. Add the almond butter, almond milk and maple syrup 3. Mix to combine, then fold in the chocolate chips. 4. Transfer into a lightly oiled ramekin or mug. 5. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Leave to cool for 10 minutes. 7. Serve with fruit and enjoy!
