the power of the mind and its affect on the body, emotions and soul is the most immense thing imaginable- it’s okay to not be okay. ▪️▪️▪️
My personal struggle with mental health comes from a long battle of suppressing my emotions and not knowing how to express them or who I was able to talk about them. Issues of mental health affected the way I saw myself, the way I interacted with others and the relationships I had. I hated myself, I saw only the negatives, I didn’t feel good enough, I didn’t get close to people because I didn’t trust others, I was insecure, vunerable, unable to express my emotions. I smiled but I was screaming on the inside. BUT that all changed. I found my voice, passion, power, confidence through talking, through opening up, through strengthening my mindset and through loving myself and letting others love me. 💖💪🏽
The mindfulme project came from a simple thought of wanting to be able to talk openly about the topics related to health and fitness. it's a safe and empowering project headed by me to enable women to feel strong, confident and empowered and that it's okay to have problems and feel certain ways but it's equally important to talk about them and feel apart of a tribe, who grow together to become body confident, strong mentally, physically And emotionally and learn to practice self love 👊🏽 - this is me. Mental health shouldn’t be invisible. The #mindfulmeproject
will be BACK IN NOVEMBER DM for details. 💖
