A little bit more of me, photo taken by my daughter @kseniaparomova
yesterday. She said, this photo reflects my personality really well, a lifelong dreamer, with my head in the clouds. But living a down-to-earth life.
Next, photos from the exhibition at the Tennessee State Museum that we toured yesterday. Tennessee history is interesting and varied, it was a Frontier two hundred years ago, and some exhibition pieces reflect that. Yet, now it's a very developed state, music industry is booming too. According to the video we saw at the Museum, Tennessee is practically a ground zero for Rock and Roll, not to mention the country music 🎶
The exhibition touches on the African American history and the native peoples who peacefully inhabited the place long before the Europeans came here. I couldn't help to feel sad for the suppression of African American voters that was happening, and especially the displacement of native peoples. Wish we could all coexist and live in peaceful harmony along each other. Hope it's not just a dream! #adreamer #me #картинкисвыставки #exhibition
One of the last photos is a peace pipe, in comparison to the rapier and musket. I was impressed that the peace pipe was so much longer
