Another one. I'm not happy that my viewing time is taken up by the same lame 'verb' your 'adjective as noun' ads every day. Imagine if ad spots went to the most creative and thought-provoking ads instead of whoever has more money... .
SNOOZE seems to really like this absurd trend though, having not only, 'Create Your Comfortable', but also the riveting, 'Find Your Comfortable'. The voiceover also suggests we all 'crave comfortable' and each of our 'comfortables' is unique. .
To me it seemed like everyone's 'comfortable' was lying in a bed. Not unique at all. The ad looked like it ran out of ideas and started posing the actors in silly positions on the bed, including lying on top of other people. That makes me question the 'comfortable' of their beds. Missed opportunity. .
It's good that the idea focuses on the value beds offer (comfort) instead of the features of the beds. But it stops short. Comfort goes beyond lying in a bed. In the end this ad looks no different than a bunch of other bed ads out there, except it has a thoughtless voiceover and ridiculous, overused tagline. BY THE WAY, tell me, which tag has more results, #findyourcomfort
