you think you’re worth more than you earn
bringing an old favorite back to the page. missing this scenery
sorry for the long caption. been trying to work on the consistency of my photos lately. simple compositions and scenes are some of the most enjoyable photos to shoot for me. that’s what it’s all about, the enjoyment. my Instagram account I had a couple years ago had thousands of followers and likes and that was great but I felt I was not reaching an audience of people I cared about, just an audience of people I went to high school with. so when I started to really start taking photography seriously I made a new account and it’s tough only having a few hundred followers and sometimes barely grazing fifty likes on a photo I really like but I’m not looking to become a world famous photographer I’m looking for enjoyment because that’s the reason I started this in the first place. being out there alone and just feeling connected to the landscape you’re in is one of the best feelings there is and the more I feel that feeling the better my life is. thanks to those who do follow and like tho because validation always feels good. 🙏🏼 2018
don’t you mind, don’t you mind
Darks skies, and snow blowing on the road to Berg Lake in June. I had to stop at the beautiful Bow Lake though. They don’t call it the Icefields Parkway for nothing.
that’s a human way down there 📸 / perspectives and focus
trying to hide....unsuccessful
Just a little Monday morning flower power. Can’t wait to see more popping up!
Run to grab the camera because moments like this are fleeting....luckily I managed to get a piece of it.
The force of these falls was so powerful - it was amazing to feel underfoot. Walking through the mist to this clearing to reach out and touch nature at its most thunderous.
Today I’m reminded of all the beauty in world - even amidst the increasing chaos. Today I am grateful for my home and the inspiring people who share it with me. Today I am in love with so much. Plus mountains are really neat @v_radford
Happy Canada Day everyone! 🇨🇦
And into the mountains I go to loose my mind and find my soul....
Someone left a perfect coconut on a perfect day by a perfect hammock on the perfect beach which made for a perfect photo op.
Lately things have been a little disconnected. It was great to get out to Kananaskis this weekend - cool temperatures, rain and all.
