What a stellar night to be out in the mountains. Took a trip up to Hyalite on Monday to be rewarded with perfectly clear skies and no moon to block out the stars. The clarity of the night sky was spectacular! The crazy levels of humidity froze over my lens about 3 times throughout the night. Meaning I had to keep thawing it off next to a heater and then set up for some more shots only to repeat the process again. All part of the adventure that made for some awesome images I couldn't wait to share!

Life is like an ocean of sand. It will always slip through your fingers and will always slip away from you. There will, however, be a small part that remains in the palm of your hand. Be thankful for that.

Camp views from my four day trek that unfortunately turned into a 3 day trek due to weather. My Santa Cruz trip turned into a whole lot of rain, and snow, freezing temperatures, and very wet camp gear. But, on a positive note, I got to experience all of this with some pretty rad people who kept up the laughs, and high spirits 😆 and life is always good when I’m trekking through the mountains.
Now time for a shower, and a beer.
Cheers Santa Cruz 🍻
When hunting OTC deer in Arizona, it turns out that you can still glass even if you’re sitting 5 feet away from the binoculars. This helps keep your eyes sharp after glassing for an entire day. Try it next time 😉
A visit to DAB is always a highlight. This Chestnut, Rose, and Cassis Montblanc was ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀☁️☁️☁️ D R E A M Y ☁️☁️☁️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chestnut cream, rose & cassis, vanilla ganache, topped with a meringue baton. Of course, I can’t leave without picking a box of cannelé; I tell myself I’m getting them to bring them home for people but you’ll always find me shame eating the last one that night.
