Almost at the ‘what I think I look like’ doing wrap splits ❤️
O amor transforma, o amor trasborda e ele suporta.

?!! And @sassyjolie
’s favorite past time is picking combos that will put me out of my comfort zone. Oh well, got a pretty good split in. Come fly with me tomorrow! 6:30 at @prowesspolefitness
I noticed that I was getting a bit weaker every time I went to the aerial classes when I was living in Michigan. My cramps got a bit worse during my periods and my periods were more irregular than normal. I went to see my gyno about it back in May 2018 and when they did an ultrasound, they discovered 2 tumors in my uterus and I was diagnosed with having PCOS.
Monday, July 9, I had surgery to remove the tumors and Friday, July 13 I got the thumbs up from my gyno and was told that the tumors were benign 🙌🏼. I then proceeded to drive across to Nebraska that same day and started a new job July 18!
However, the fatigue and and weakness I felt didn’t get any better. Apparently there’s no cure yet for PCOS 😣
Well, fast forward 5 months, and I finally got around to going to my first aerial class since moving to Lincoln🤸🏻♀️. My flexibility is not what it used to be and I’m weaker than ever. BUT I DID IT. And I’m so proud of myself.
PCOS doesn’t just mean I have multiple cysts on my ovaries (some women don’t have any!) it means I have a hormonal imbalance that is causing a lot of problems. All of this to say, listen to your body. Sometimes life just throws a curveball at you and all you can do is adjust your swing ⚾️
