Last night's aglio olio 😋
But that's not what I wanna talk about.
To me, FB and Instagram are two different animals. I come on social media to destress, and frankly I find Fb toxic and stressful. Because of its interface, old posts can suddenly pop up again and revive annoying old debates which I'd rather forget. In comparison, Insta is like a support group where people get together because they share similar interests - in my case, cooking and food - even though many of us start out as strangers. In Insta, once a post is up, it will be a thing of the past even though people comment on an old thread. You could say I feel safer in Insta, and more vulnerable in Fb. That's why I share a lot more about my thoughts here compared to Fb - such as the fact I got married haha. Honestly I've thought of deactivating FB but I can't because of the repercussions on my professional network. Also, it's a way to keep in touch with relatives and friends who don't use insta, especially now that Mum is also on Fb. So yeah, no choice. If you wanna get in touch with me, insta is best :) But anyway. Ranting over. Enjoy ogling at my aglio olio, and have a good Saturday :)
