And yet, it’s curious that not many are taking sides right now. Do they think that he has been unfairly accused? Do they think that she is a victim and if they do, why aren’t they rushing to her defence? If they believe in either one of them, why aren’t they speaking out instead of letting media plunge into vitriolic character assassinations?
Surely, people on the ‘inside’ must have a clearer idea about the truth as opposed to those of us who are on the outside looking in.
By hedging about the topic, are they - consciously or unconsciously - supporting precisely what they are critiquing, defamation of character or the harassment of a woman? People need to speak out.
