The Alaska SeaLife Center is an amazing little aquarium/education center in Seward. It’s a must see if you’re in the area! #alaskasealifecenter #puffin
Seward-ians! I’ll be hanging out at @resurrect.art

Finally excited to announce my next big adventure: I’m moving to ALASKA!!!!! I have been offered a fellowship at the Alaska SeaLife Center ❄️ I’m so thrilled for this opportunity and all the experiences that come with it! However, I couldn’t have come this far without the prayers and support of my family and friends, so thank you 💙 PS having been raised in Florida I am welcome (and in need) of any tips for living in Alaska/snow #floridagirl #alaska #alaskasealifecenter #dreambig
Don’t you just love the wonder of discovery? Layla enjoyed learning about many of the interesting animals local to Alaska (like otters, puffins, and dolphins) at the SeaLife Center in Seward. One of the best parts of our time on the road has been exploring new places and seeing new things regularly. There’s so much beauty in the world, and it’s all out there to just find and enjoy!
This has been one of the warmest autumns Alaska has had in the last 100 years, according to climate data. This warmth is effecting ocean surface temperatures, and there has been significantly warmer temperatures in the southern Chukchi and Bering Seas, stated by NOAA. This increase in temperature could delay sea ice development. •
This is why the study of Arctic animals is important. What will this do to the marine mammals that inhabit these areas? Are they able to adapt to survive? Who knows....but the #AlaskaSeaLifeCenter
are researching these cryptic animals to find out! #PHOCAS #protectwhatyoulove #pinnipedlab
Seward Alaska! We went to the Alaska Sea Life Center.
What an amazing place! So much to see & learn.
It was a spectacular day!
Photo of the Day: I have no idea what kind of bird this is, but it seems to be a cross between a duck and an alligator!
I took this photo at the Alaska Sea Life Center, in Seaward.

Even Kordi the harbor seal smiled for the camera 😄
This summer has been one of the best summers of my life, hands down. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn more husbandry skills while working with new fish and invertebrate species (and even baby sea otters too!!!). Getting to work with such an amazing group of individuals has been a privilege, and I will be forever thankful for the friendships I've made in Seward. I'll definitely be back to visit soon! #alaskasealifecenter #endlesssummer #TJtheAlaskan
Dad was at #alaskasealifecenter
yesterday in Seward, AK. Truffles and Mom had a nice time at home taking walks and sitting on deck.
