Al fresco lunch today with the hubby 🍃💕 The past few days have been so beautiful in Miami, it was a delight to be able to enjoy the weather while we ate our delicious lunch.
Most of our lunches are home-made but when we go out to eat (specially on weekdays) we always look for places that offer healthy & balanced options. Eating at a restaurant or cafe doesn’t mean we have to go off track, it’s up to us to make the right choices. Today we chose a yummy adobo chicken and salad wrap with olives and goat cheese 🤤. As with everything, we have a balance. We love a good burger or a delicious pasta (they just opened a Halal Guys right on our building, thanks 🙃) but we prefer to leave that for the weekends or a special occasion.
During the week I want to feel energized, focused, active, light, and ready to go ⚡️, not slow, tired, sleepy, which would be exactly how I feel if I had a heavy lunch. 😴😵 It’s a change of habits, a change of mindset, that results in a change of lifestyle.💥 Healthy life, happy life!
