Hola 👋 Having all the feels ✨ today because tomorrow is launch 🚀 day for my 8 week lift & hit interval training program‼️ If your excuse is always “not having time” then this is for you!
With this program I get to workout only 4 days out of the week 30-40 minutes a day with 3 days off to rest or do other things I love doing like, swimming, hiking or yoga. The meal plan is so flexible I even get 1 cheat day out of the week which will help me keep my sanity stable because lord knows I LOVE those damn brownies 🍫. This will by far the one program that will challenge me to chill and not go crazy over working my body with double workouts. Also if you followed my journey from the get go you will know I started an all lifting program program and got toned up and muscle definition then. Yet I wasn’t really dialed into the nutrition aspect because I didn’t understand it too well, but even like that my quads and biceps were popping. This time I’m stoked to see how my body will change because not only will I be lifting which I love so much but I complete understand the nutrition aspect since it’s been laid out so simple it’s stupid easy even a kindergartner can follow it. The magic doesn’t happen so much during the workouts. Workouts are only 20% of our results and the other 70% is your nutrition. So if you don’t have that nutrition dialed in, then you are just working too hard.
The next 8 weeks are going to be so much fun, why are you not doing this with us?

So this morning I done Tkd training for 2 hours, which is pretty tiring, but a good sweat sesh. This was also my first session back after my injury but feeling so much better and just want to keep moving (that’s probs just me tho). As a recovery snack (also one of my favourite) I made cinnamon and raisin bagels topped with almond butter and banana 😍 tastes amazing plus gets the right amount of nutrients and calories back into my body! Also featuring Doris in this pic 😂
Now off to go make a roast dinner for tonight and probs some protein snacks for future workout sessions 😊
Chocolate Crunch Bars 🍫:
1. 1/3 cup almond butter
2. 1/4 cup coconut oil - melted
3. 1/4 cup cocoa powder
4. 2 tbsps hemp seeds
5. 2 tbsps ground flax seeds
6. 2 1/2 cups rice puffs cereal
🌱stir together all ingredients except the cereal
🌱once combined, gently fold in the cereal until well coated
🌱transfer to a loaf pan and freeze for at least 2 hours
🌱slice into bars & enjoy
🌱store in the fridge

Almond butter brownies, I can have one and not eat an entire pan of brownies, which really gets the scale and I in a tiff 🤣. These are delicious great texture, and you can keep them out of sight in the freezer for those days you just need a brownie!

🌿Nutty Grain Bowl🌿 •
High in omega 3s, protein, healthy fats, and carbs. Perfect for a post-workout recovery. The base is 1/3 cup tricolor quinoa simmered in 1 cup coconut milk and water (equal parts), and cinnamon. Toppings include 1 tbs: hemp seeds, chia seeds, coconut flakes. 3 almond butter balls (about 2 tbs worth), blueberries, and toasted walnuts and pecans.

I let her give her spiel because we went to college together and, well, I’m a nice girl. I knew OF her, but really had no recollection beyond that.

Well.... her message was appealing enough for me to give the group a shot and the rest is HISTORY! .
I signed up to lose about 30 lbs of baby weight (I’m half way there) and in 4 days I couldn’t get the idea of coaching out of my head. Against others advice, I signed up. .
Has it always been easy. Nope!
But it has led me to a whole new community of women who dared me and pushed me to DREAM BIGGER! Women like Julianne who saw something in me before I saw it myself. And now, I have best friends all across the country (and that’s NOT an exaggeration!). We have shared tears of pain & tears of joy, traveled, made future goals so big i can’t even fathom achieving them, and they have become my daily inspiration to be better.
Did I see myself in the health & fitness world? Other than reliving my glory days on a softball field, I can honestly say never in a million years. I love being a designer and that’s what I wanted to be since I was a kid.
But since when can we only have ONE passion in life?!
It’s funny how things work out. And I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God placed me with these women, at this time, for a reason. When days are hard and I want to waive the white flag 🏳️, they REFUSE to let me to sell myself short.
When I signed up, I did it for the accountability. And now, I am not even the same person I was a year ago.The new person I have become and the new SISTERS I have made have far outweighed any expectations I could have set for this journey. .
Thank you for sending that message to a stranger. If it weren’t for that “first move”, who knows where I would be.

Whether you go to a gym, do a fit class or home workouts, proper nutrition and exercise will work!! The problem with people not getting results is simple, they expect immediate results so they quit!
These home workouts are just as killer if as if you were taking a fitness class at a gym. The programs we do are not a magic pill, we still have to put in the work. These home workouts are just another tool to help you either start your journey, try something new, or just add more options to your now healthy lifestyle.
This is why I’m passionate about my home workouts. To start check out this babe! Her and so many other women have got killer results working out at home. Not only do we get home workouts but we get a community of amazing women that are in different levels of their journey that inspire the shit out each other to not give up. On top of it we get a meal plan and personal trainer with each program something the gym doesn’t give us. We get to workout whenever we want. Let me also add I don’t do well with gym’s. I admire the shit out of people that go to a gym, know what the eff they are doing, workout for an hour to two a day and get killer results! That’s some serious dedication there and my respects for them. But that is not my reality. My reality is for one I have no idea what the fuck to do in a gym, two I see squirrels everywhere, in other words I get distracted easily, and three I don’t have 2 damn hours a day to workout, on top of it I need to get dressed, drive to the gym, deal with traffic, park, workout and then drive home tired AF. So that “hour” workout is more than an hour out of my day and I don’t have that time. This is why l love my home workouts. I don’t have to drive anywhere and workout for an hour to get killer results, I get a meal plan and a supportive community.
