To me, YES. It’s what gets me up in the morning and it’s what drives me to get as much done as I can in the course of a day. I’m a full-time student, I have 5 part-time jobs, I compete in physique, and I train online clients every day. .
I put forth the same effort for each and every one of these feats and to be honest, if I didn’t exercise and push myself physically every day I would be lazy and out of touch with most of my life. .
And I only say this because this used to be me...
Being fit to me means pushing my limits inside the gym just as much as outside. Now it may resonate differently with you, but that’s okay! Find your motivator to be active each day and I promise you, you’ll see and feel the results!

🤯For so long, I focused on the wrong thing. I wasn’t tuned into my diet, I was doing boatloads of cardio, not lifting weights, drinking skinny teas and taking fat burners. If it said “lose weight fast”, I probably tried it!
🖐🏼Fast forward five years... and lots of mistakes later, I created this little pyramid for you guys so you know what to focus on when you are trying to tone up and lose fat.
⚠Here’s the golden pyramid of fat loss for you guys!
1⃣Calorie Deficit: Eating less calories than your body needs is the only way to lose fat!
2⃣Eat Enough Protein: to maintain muscle mass, to recover from workouts, to keep you full and satiated when you’re dieting and so you get toned aka you don’t turn “skinny fat”
3⃣Lift Weights: 2-5x a week! (usually 3-4 is a sweet spot for most people) don’t be afraid to go heavy, it WON’T make you bulky unless you eat too many calories
4⃣Sleep: 7-9 hours a night to recover, rest and keep your hunger levels in check. when you don’t sleep enough, your body will be hungrier. so get those Zzzs!
5⃣Cardio, Movement, and 10k steps/day. Finding active hobbies you enjoy will keep you consistent and make it a lot more fun.
☝🏼Find what works for you, your lifestyle, habits, and preferences. Focus on the BIG stuff and don’t let the little things distract you from the big picture.

12 weeks have passed and I’ve reached the end of another dieting phase! During this dieting phase I traveled all over the place! I was able to enjoy and make memories with friends and experience many different locations! This was able to be done from the idea of flexible & intuitive dieting. It’s all about what you eat and how you distribute the nutrition across your daily caloric intake. You DO NOT have to starve yourself, you DO NOT have to go on crazy diets, you DO NOT have to destroy yourself. You just have to learn what you’re eating.
Feed your body with foods that empower you and nourish you.
When I first started this diet of 12 weeks the main goal was to transform my body to beat my previous physique I have brought to the table. This goal was miniscule for what was going to happen over the next 12 weeks. .
I have learned the most valuable lesson of my life this time around which is relationships are everything. The people I have met throughout this have been absolutely AMAZING! I never thought I’d be surrounded by so many like minded individuals and those who empower you/guide you voluntarily & involuntarily.
The main idea has been realizing there is no reason to be in a room filled with a ton of people who push your vision down, make you feel small, and don’t offer value to your life. Always ask yourself why be silenced by the few who don’t understand your dreams & happiness when there are THOUSANDS of people who want you to speak and see you grow yourself & those around you!
Don’t ever sell yourself short with the life you know because you’re afraid of the life you don’t know.
Fitness has always been more than just a transform of body for me. Fitness has opened the door for mental development and LIFE changes.
