Looking at this side by side has made me cringe yet feel so happy at the same time. It’s always hard to look at who you once were and think about all of the things you were eating, not eating, drinking, and just being inactive. The photo on the left was just this past April for my spring break. I was drinking like 3-4 diet cokes a day AT LEAST around this time and skipping out on my fitness kick boxing classes. Back then I thought I looked just OK and that was good enough for me. It was just good enough to be thinish with my belly bloat from all the soda I was consuming and the junk I was eating. Now it is August and I am so proud to see how far I’ve come. I have cut back to having a soda once or twice a week. I’m active daily and I’m really stepping up on my meals with protein and less carbs. I drink so much more water and I have a protein shake every day. The hardest part was having motivation to go to the gym. Now that I’ve been lifting daily and going to Barre classes 5 days a week, I am proud of who I have become. This is only just the beginning. I’m headed into month 2 of my journey. If this is what I look like after 2 months, I can’t imagine where I will be in another 2 months from now. Do yourself a favor and take care of yourself. ✌🏼
