Going down the Galenstock we decided to take the route down a glacier that connects with the Rhône Glacier only to find out that our 15 year old map didn‘t account for global warming and the maped glacier had long melted away. Far down in the valley you see the Rhône glacier no longer fed with ice from this valley...Climate change hits Switzerland harder then you think...😢

Me catching my breath at the summit of the Galenstock, 3586m high above the foggy valley. On clear days you can see for miles, that day I only managed to see through holes in the clouds, still a cool feeling to standing on top though. 💁♂️😛🧗♂️
