Counting sheep 🐑🖤 some of my favorite pictures are of these babies.
Any geologists out there? The tundra between Kotzebue and Barrow, Alaska has some pretty gnarly topography. Little rivers, and plateaus provide for wildlife and make for an awesome ecosystem.

The last time I was in sweden with my dogs, I visited Christer Afséer and his family on their farm. I had a great time with them and their dogs, so I’m more than happy that Christer finally decided to go to Yukon Quest in 2019. The most of you maybe know him from the Finnmarkslopet 2017 - he finished the race with a purebreed malamute team. Now he said ‚yes‘ to a new Challenge: a very hard one, but I believe that he is able to make that race too.
I met his malamutes: very kind and friendly dogs, which are able to do that competition.
Now I’m asking you for your help: Support the Malamute Quest 2019 and donate for Christer’s Team. The money will exclusively be used during 2018-19, with the purpose of
bringing a purebred Alaskan Malamute team to the finish line of Yukon Quest 2019. By paying to the account you will be accepted as a member on
the Fb side "Christer Afséer goes Yukon Quest 2019 - The Malamute Quest“
Should the "project" be put down before the 1st of July, the paid sum (equivalent in SEK) will be paid back to each paying supporter. If put down later, the remaining money will be given back in percentage of the given sum. Eventually the donated money can be given to dog rescue organisation, as decided by the supporters. #alaskan #malamute #alaskanmalamute #malamutenorthernroots #support #a #friend #sleddogsports #sleddogs #arctic #dog #new #challenge #yukon #quest

So many tiny, tucked away but beautiful little scenes can be found in the Arctic regions. One of our Expeditioners stumbled across this quaint, fairytale-like town in Lofoton, Norway. Fancy finding your own hidden beauty? Learn more about our #Arcticexpeditions

🐉 To experience the surreal magic of the Northern Lights on a ship in the middle of the Arctic Ocean is an experience that simply takes your breath away. Photos just can’t do it justice, but I tried. You know the Aurora is big when you need a 15mm fisheye to fit even a portion of the display in the frame! Photographed on assignment with @oneoceanexp
tbt to the time I couchsurfed with this guy and he worked for Spitsbergen travel so he got me and my friends on a small ship cruise above 80° north for super cheap and we saw a polar bear (way way way in the distance) and I took pictures but they’re all potatoes and I learned that if you’re afraid of polar bears you shouldn’t be because arctic terns are actually the scariest, meanest creatures you’ll ever encounter and will definitely kill you and also I had the coldest swim of my life in these waters which would be nice right now because Denver has been as hot as an oven all summer.

To say this trip was inspiring would be a huge understatement. So many photos to go through yet but here are some I initially liked. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been on an Artic expedition with @adventure.canada
cruising through the Canadian Arctic and down the west coast of Greenland. Life changing!! 💙
