They didn’t show you, my friend.
They didn’t tell you that things can be bad but that doesn’t mean there is something wrong with you.
They didn’t show you that underneath the chaos and storm, there is something precious. Or that the darkness comes with light too.
I uploaded my first video last week on how to make art for anxiety, and I am so grateful to have received so much interest and love from you all.
It was powerful to read from your responses and see that many of you have found different ways to relieve and cope with anxiety.
I was very inspired by this and it just reminded me of how we can use anxiety to better ourselves.
Having anxiety doesn’t mean that we are broken, or there’s something wrong with us.
Anxiety is here to tell us something, to show us something, to prompt us to find ways to take care of ourselves in ways that we might not have even imagined.
We get in tune with ourselves. We find what’s right for us, what soothes us, what makes ourselves the best person, the best sister, the best daughter, co worker, friend.
We learn what we need and we learn to get it.
